Day 29 - A book everyone hated but you liked.
Well, I thoroughly enjoyed The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. It was a fun, quick page-turner that I found myself reading until the wee hours of the morning. Contrary to many reviews I read on the book, I didn't read it with the idea that I was reading a non-fiction book and that all the plot twists and tropes etc had to be historically correct for it to be a good read. It's a fictional story.
It did send me off to do some research on some of the religious ideas presented. That stuff fascinates me.
Anyway.. I enjoyed it for what it was and wasn't looking for anything profound or earth-shattering - just a good read and for me it was. :)
